Dmitrij Hristodorov
Dmitrij Hristodorov is a General Partner at Forbion. His current portfolio spans multiple development stages, treatment modalities, and disease areas. He serves as a board member of Complement, Progentos, RyCarma, Seamless, AAVantgarde, Kynexis, Beacon, Mosanna, and Memento. Among other roles, he previously served as a board observer and R&D committee member at Gyroscope Therapeutics, which was acquired by Novartis for up to $1.5 billion in December 2021, and as a board director at Oxular, which was acquired by Regeneron in 2025. Prior to joining Forbion, he held positions in ophthalmology R&D and business development at Bayer Pharma. In 2013, he earned his PhD, summa cum laude, from RWTH Aachen University for research conducted in immunology at the Fraunhofer Institute.
