Sofiya brings hands-on expertise in complement biomarker assay development from her time at the University of Iowa. Her broad knowledge of complement biology, human immunology and translational research contributed to in vitro pharmacological and biochemical studies of CTx001, which facilitated its successful FDA IND clearance. She has particular expertise in the development, validation and tech transfer of MSD assays. Sofiya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Luther College and a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Iowa.
